Somatic Skills - After School Program
Each session is 90 minutes in length and consists of no less than 70 minutes of full body fitness. Some classes finish with yoga stretching and meditation for 20 minutes. Usually held indoors, this program has less endurance work than our summer program.
The goals of our after school program are to improve strength, explosiveness, flexibility, and eye hand coordination.
In addition to developing the body, these sessions are happening when many of our members are juggling the committments of school and other extra curriculur activites which in turn requires additional discipline and committment.
